Developer Stanley Martin began building homes on a 950-acre historic estate just after 2010. Just over 250 homes are included in Selma Estates, and they sit on rolling hills with views of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Most homes are "open concept" inside, and include large kitchens with large center islands, plus ample sized bedrooms.
Selma is located just north of the incorporated town of Leesburg. Nearby attractions include Morven Park, Ida Lee Rec Center, downtown Leesburg, Lucketts, White's Ferry, the C&O Canal, the W&OD trail, and several wineries and breweries. Public schools districted to the neighborhood are Frances Hazel Reid Elementary School, Smarts Mill Middle School, and Tuscarora High School. The Point of Rocks MARC station is 10 miles away. An executive airport (Leesburg airport) is close by, and proximity to three major airports (DCA, IAD, and BWI) make this neighborhood a great place for people who need to travel for work or for fun!
