Red Cedar is a subdivision in Leesburg, Virginia, located off Evergreen Mills Road, south of the Dulles Greenway. With approximately 400 residences in the community, the neighborhood has both detached homes and town homes, which are connected by sidewalks.
The neighborhood was founded by Pulte Homes, a national home builder known for quality construction. Many of the single family lots are located on quarter acre plats, but there are some conservancy lots that sit on more than 20 acres. Mature trees surround the community and provide both shade and beautiful scenery to homeowners and guests alike. A homeowner's association (HOA) maintains the community amenities and ensures the exterior of the homes continue to comply with maintenance and design standards.
With proximity to downtown Leesburg, Ashburn, Brambleton and the Dulles Greenway, this community is conveniently located for those who wish to commute far distances OR enjoy local shopping and entertainment. Public schools districted to the neighborhood include Sycolin Creek Elementary School, Simpson Middle School, and Loudoun County High School. The Academies of Science (a magnet STEM and vocational tech school for public high school students) is just a 5-10 minute drive from the neighborhood. Loudoun Country Day School, a private pre-k through 8th grade school, is located at the entrance of the community (off Evergreen Mills Road).
